State Rep. Carol Kent is hosting an informal coffee meeting for neighbors Friday morning from 10 to 11:30 at the La Madeline off Preston and Forest. Kent, who is about to finish her first year in state office, has invited District 102 constituents to come-and-go as their schedules allow, though something tells me there will be whole a lot of people vying for her time. For that reason, members of her staff will also be there to hear you out. They’d like to get a headcount, so everyone is encouraged to RSVP via email, though it’s not required.
