Looks like KTXA-Ch. 21 has finally come to its senses. After being snubbed by the local High School Game of the Week broadcasts all season, Lake Highlands football will be on the air Friday night, albeit on a tape-delayed basis.
The Wildcats’ bi-district playoff game will be shown at 11 p.m. Friday on Ch. 21. It’s not primetime, but we’ll take it. (The UIL doesn’t permit live broadcasts on Friday nights).
Lake Highlands coach Scott Smith broke the news last night at the taping of the Wildcat Sports Report. Set your DVRs and enjoy watching the Cats and Raiders.
