Finally, the leaves are changing colors. And this morning, as I headed west on Walnut Hill between Skillman and Audelia, the beautiful yellow leaves reminded me how much I love that stretch of road, where the trees form a romantic canopy over drivers. For just a few seconds, I feel like I’m somewhere a little more rural, a little less disrupted by development.
By the way, this gorgeous fall weather for which we’ve waited so long will apparently continue through next Thursday. It will be a little warm tomorrow with a high of 80, but after that, highs are in the lower 70s and upper 60s with only the slightest chance of rain.
