A Lake Highlands resident is vying for Road Warrior status. Caryn Carson is a finalist in American Way magazine’s highly competitive American Airlines Road Warrior Contest. Entrants write an essay explaining why they deserve the distinction. You can read Carson’s here. All the finalists’ entries are impressive, but some contestants go the extra mile. Case in point: see Carson’s video below. In it she cleverly describes her plight and begs your vote. You can also spot some telltale neighborhood landmarks such as BoBo China, Tukta Thai and Tex Mex Grill in the witty vid. Not only do I think this lady will win (with our help, of course) but I also fully expect to see her running for some public office in the near future. She’s good.
