Lake Highlands’ undefeated run through the District 9-5A volleyball schedule withstood a serious challenge on Friday.
The Wildcats lost the first two games at Richardson and were forced to win the final three to remain unbeaten in district play. While the first two games won by Richardson were close, LH dominated the rest of the way: 23-25, 22-25, 25-11, 25-19, 15-7.
The volleyball Wildcats are back in action Tuesday against W.T. White at Loos Fieldhouse. JV match begins at 5:30 p.m. with the varsity match scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
The Wildcats play their final home match this Friday against Creekview, with the same scheduled start times. Just three district matches remain, in all, with bi-district playoffs scheduled for Nov. 2-3.
