If you didn’t attend this week’s taping of the Wildcat Sports Report with Coach Scott Smith, you missed a real happening at Picasso’s Pizza and Grill.
It was such a star-studded, fun-filled night, we ran way over the normal 30 minutes allotted for the Wildcat Sports Report. It’s going to take a while for expert editor Jessica Wilson to boil it down, but here are a few highlights that might make the final cut:
– We learned what running back Desmond Roland eats before every game
– We learned that Coach Scott Smith has a superstition about the coin flip before every game
– We learned Cowboys sideline reporter Kristi Scales was once a dumpster diver
Kristi also brought out a stack of Dallas Cowboys Bluebooks – the glossy team annuals – to give away to the crowd. Those are instant collector’s items with the opening of the new stadium.
And we had the fabulous Bell Boys giving out mini-footballs and adding some pep to the crowd. Many thanks to Brent Bono (who won one of our triva contests), Will Pittman, Tyler Terrell and Ben Toler for bringing that great Bell Boys spirit to Picasso’s.
