After all this rain, your car could probably use a good soap and rinse. And who knows their way around water better than the Lake Highlands swim team? They will get your vehicle shining in no time at the team’s car wash fundraiser, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in front of the high school.
Car Wash tickets can be purchased in advance for $8 from any swim team member. And unlike the car wash at the gas pump, they will vacuum the inside and put Armor All on your tires. It’s everything you need to get your wheels ready for a hot date Saturday night.
Assuming that, unlike me, your wheels aren’t the Family Truckster and the last time you had a hot date, it consisted of watching a movie on a top-loading Betamax while snacking on Jiffy Pop.
