The Lake Highlands volleyball team improved to 2-0 in District 9-5A play with a three-game sweep of Sunset on Tuesday at DISD’s Ellis Davis Fieldhouse.
The Wildcats dominated each game in a 25-6, 25-8, 25-7 win.
LH is back at home Friday for a match against RISD rival Berkner. The junior varsity match is at 5:30 p.m. with the varsities scheduled to go at 6:30 p.m.
Because of a bye week, there’s no LH football on Friday night for the second week in a row. So if you have to get your Wildcat fix, this is another great opportunity to see the highly accomplished volleyball program go against one of LH’s biggest rivals.
