After Tuesday’s 18-1 win over Richardson, Lake Highlands is now 4-0 in District 9-5A team tennis play and 11-3 overall. While the team appears to be hitting its stride, coach Bob Williams has high expectations.
"Our doubles teams are beginning to realize they can’t be ’emotional’ but must maintain a consistent, high level of energy," Williams said. "Anna Lew and Johnny Olivo are striking the ball very well right now."
Williams said Wil Matthews is taking a week off from tennis to repair an injured shoulder.
