The big thing to do this weekend is eat … and eat — it’s Restaurant Week. Here’s a list of participating spots around town.
The Parade of Playhouses at Northpark Center all month — a good excuse to hit the mall. You can see here, a video I made about the showcase and the good cause it benefits. Nicely done, sir!
Read to Rocky at the Audelia library Saturday, Aug. 15 — this event pairs children grades K-4 with Heart-of-Texas therapy dogs. The kids read to the dogs for fun and to improve reading skills. "The dogs are good listeners," say organizers. "Bring your own book or use ours."
