"I know a lot of the girls[at Highland Park] and I miss them, so I’m looking forward to it," Christman said.

But what Christman really wants to see is how Highland Park’s defense performs. It’s a special defense that Christman has incorporated into the LH repertoire.

"We won’t play anyone else who runs that," Christman said. "We don’t run that defense all the time. It will be nice to see that in action, what it looks like when it’s run all the time."

Although tonight’s games officially count on the team’s record, Christman feels the season really begins this weekend with the prestigious Duncanville tournament.

"We have a lot of work to do," Christman said. "Our scrimmages are against good teams and that’s the way we want it. Even though these count against our record, for us, I consider this our last look and more a part of our preparation."
