With all the excitement about the upcoming Lake Highlands football season, the best way to guarantee your seat – and the best view of the action – is by purchasing reserved season tickets. If you’ve ever stood in the long lines at the ticket windows at Wildcat-Ram Stadium, you’ll know what we’re talking about.

Today is the final day to renew season tickets for 2008 season ticket holders. Need to upgrade to an aisle seat? Sit lower or higher?  Last year’s season ticket holders can exchange for unclaimed seats from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, at the school.

Season tickets for first-time buyers will be sold Thursday and Friday, Aug. 13-14, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the foyer of the LH auditorium. Season tickets are just $28 ($7 each for four home games) and, if it’s like previous years, you can pick your seat from what’s available in the reserved (middle) section.

If you don’t mind sitting near the band on the north end (popular hangout for band parents) or near the rowdy junior high kids on the south end of the stands, general admission tickets are sold at a discount on gamedays at the high school, freshman center and both junior highs. Tickets purchased at the schools are $5 for adults and $4 for students.  If any reserved seats are available, they will be sold at the high school only for $8 each.

All tickets at the gate will be $7. So you can save money and time by purchasing ahead – unless you just like standing in line outside the stadium while the game kicks off.
