The team website lhfootball.com has leaked a sneak peek at what appears to be new home jerseys for Lake Highlands.
The jerseys are worn by the team captains in a photo on the front page of the site. The captains are also holding a banner with the team’s theme for 2009: "Finish What We Started…"
The jerseys are a smart-looking red with black numerals outlined in white. The word "WILDCATS" is in white just above the numbers on the front. There are also numbers on the sleeves, to help identify your favorite player from the stands.
It’s a more basic, almost throwback, look than what’s previously been worn in the Scott Smith era. They should look pretty sharp with the full ensemble.
The captains for 2009 are (front row): 58 Chui Kaping, 55 Dwayne Chandler, 53 Donald Myers, (back row) 79 Detarius Birmingham, 90 Mitch Marzuola, 65 Kurt Stadelmann, 2 Desmond Roland, 89 Jeremy Bracken, 7 RickyZorn, 54 Scott Hanks and 51 Tre’ Stewart.
