The various state rankings are trickling in. The latest is from TexasHSFootball.com which ranks Lake Highlands No. 10 among teams in Region II-5A.
That’s 10th in the region, not the state. The Wildcats didn’t make the site’s Top 40 state rankings, so if the team is looking for a challenge, there it is.
District 9-5A foe Skyline is ranked No. 5 in the state and No.1 in the region. Non-district foe Garland is ranked No. 8 in the state and No. 3 in the region behind Lufkin.
