Picasso’s Pizza and Grill, a Lake Highlands favorite, won the WFAAList contest in the best pizza category, a battle in which public opinion determined the winners. There are three Picasso’s in the area, so I think that gives them a bit of an edge over little hole-in-the-wall joints such as Primo Brothers. But hey, you have to give Picasso’s their props — good pizza, indeed. The runner-ups in the pizza competition were 2nd place i Fratelli, 3rd place Campisi’s, 4th place Fireside Pies, and 5th place Palio’s Pizza Café.
