Kids younger than 8-years old admitted to setting the six-alarm fire last weekend at the Hearthwood condos, which caused an estimated loss of $2,040,480, according to a news release from Jason Evans, spokesman for Dallas Fire-Rescue.
We reported earlier this week that police were looking at teens whom they suspected of arson. Turns out they were on the right track though the arsonists were way younger than imagined, which begs the question we hear week after week when we read about accidental deaths and injuries in our neighborhood, “Where were their parents?”
