The Bath House Cultural Center will be hosting an opening reception for their new gallery exhibition “Art Beyond the Stage” on Saturday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The exhibition, which is presented in conjunction with the Bath House’s 11th annual Festival of Independent Theaters, will display a collection of set designs, props, costumes and scenic art created by award-winning theater designers and artists.
Saturday’s reception is free and Marty Van Klee Kleeck, manager of the Bath House, said everyone is encouraged to come enjoy food and drinks while chatting with some of the designers who will be on hand to questions about their work.
After the reception, the exhibition will be free and open to the public until Saturday August 8. Hours are noon until 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and whenever there is a Festival of Independent Theater show running. The Bath House is located at 521 E. Lawther Drive.
