If your are shunning David Letterman because you think he is a crass old celebrity — get over it, because tomorrow night, ’01 Lake Highlands grad Annie Clark, who performs under the moniker St. Vincent, will appear on the show. Her latest CD, "Actor", has received much acclaim — if you like the soothing, raspy sounds of Norah Jones or Chan Marshall (Cat Power), you’ll like Annie. She’s quite mesmerizing.
The singer was LHHS Espree’s first female guitarist and is a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, according to an e-mail I just received about the appearance, and her family still lives on Ferndale in LH. Hope she gives a shout out to the 75238.
