Those familiar with T. Hee Greetings know there are two sections of the business: the retail gift section, and the wholesale section that prints cups, koozies, etc. for retail and wholesale customers. After renovations are complete, the wholesale area of the store will be moved into a larger location and a new section the owners are calling “The Inviting Room at T. Hee Greetings and Gifts” will take its place.
According to owners David Farris and Tony Dole, The Inviting Room will be an extension of the current store, but with a whole new, and roomier, feel. With hard wood floors and an 8 foot long banquet table, Farris and Dole say it will be the ideal place for residents to come spread out with invitations and books to plan their wedding, baby shower or next big event.
With The Inviting Room will come all new stationary and invitation lines by several notable names including Crane Stationary, Vera Wang, Kate Spade, and Martha Stewart as well as more gifts to “celebrate life’s most important moments.” Dole said after the renovation shoppers can look forward to one of the largest selections in Dallas in terms of stationary, gifts and themed invitations.
According to Dole, construction will begin in July, and they are hoping to open The Inviting Room to Lake Highlands residents by the second week in August.
T. Hee Greetings and Gifts is located at Audelia and Walnut Hill. They are open Monday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and can be reached at 214.747.5800.
