The Lake Highlands High School Class of 1974 held their 35th reunion last weekend, with more than 125 graduates returning. After a Friday golf tournament, they met at Knights of Columbus hall Saturday night for dinner and dancing. Bell Boys from the class of 2010 welcomed them by ringing the bell to celebrate their arrival. Old school newspapers and annuals brought the class back in time, and tie dye decorations set the 70’s scene. The DJ played hits from 1974 until the wee hours.
Former Wildcats arrived from all over the country, but many attendees still live in LH and have raised families here, including: Cathy Adams Muller, Brooks Purnell, Laurie Attaway Claybrook, Layne Royal Lauck, Cathy Cox Kaplan, and Rick & Beverly Stanford Marr.
