Lake Highlands Young Life will host a car wash this Saturday in the front circle drive of Lake Highlands High School from 11 am to 3 pm. LH area junior high and high school kids will be soaping and scrubbing to earn their way to summer camp. Young Life leader Meredith Reed, a graduate of LHHS, hopes the community will turn out to support the kids. "This neighborhood always supports us," she told me, "and this year we’ve got several kids who won’t be able to go to camp without a scholarship."
