The rising senior class at Lake Highlands High School is using every ounce of creativity they can muster to find ways to finance their variety of senior activities. Though the class is diverse in many ways, they want to ensure that every senior will participate in every activity, regardless of their ability to pay.

They took advantage of this season of big-time golf in the metroplex to sell Lemon Chill treats at the Byron Nelson last weekend. Amid the rolling hills and perfectly manicured tiff lawns of the Four Seasons Resort at Las Colinas, they donned their Wildcat tee shirts served the jet set. The highlight, they said, was seeing LHHS graduate Justin Leonard, who’s also playing in this week’s Crowne Plaza Colonial. If you didn’t get a Lemon Chill but would like to support the Senior Class of 2010, you can send a donation to the class treasurer, Caroline Keffer, 9449 Church Road, Dallas TX 75238.
