I like resale shops but sometimes they can get a little overwhelming —thrift-store mentality makes people think it acceptable to rummage and toss things about and generally make a big mess. Plato’s Closet, formerly in the Medallion Center next to Target fell victim to overcrowding and chaos to a point where I could no longer handle shopping or selling clothes there. Sad, because my 11-year old daughter is gaga over the place. I’ve found some great deals on used jeans, jackets and the like for myself, and I’ve also sold back a slew of items. A couple weeks ago, though, the store moved from Medallion to a significantly larger spot in Lake Highlands at Royal and Abrams (right next to Artistik Edge), which I visited over the weekend — just so you resale junkie’s know, the store is once again fabulously shop-able.
