Fri. and Sat., May 15 and 16, the LHHS Senior Show starts at 7:30 p.m. in the school auditorium both nights.

Sat., May 16, the Dallas Children’s Theater celebrates 25 years with music, crafts food and fun for all ages.

Sat. and Sun. May 16 and 17, School of Rock performs a Rolling Stones tribute at O’Rileys, 8989 Forest Lane. The $10, all-ages show gets started up at 2 p.m.

Don’t forget that in the nearby city of Richardson, the big Wildflower! arts and music fest is all weekend long at Galatyn Park — that’s not too far to travel to see Rick Springfield and Night Ranger is it? (I mean it’s like a live version of the "awesome mix tape" from that scene in Boogie Nights where Dirk Diggler tries to scam the hairy bathrobe guy who subsequently chases him down the road with a shotgun, right?) Plus the Toadies, Hoobastank, The Spazmatics, The Killdares, Tonic, David Wilcox and more more more.
