The Lake Highlands varsity golf team will travel to Waco April 27 and 28 to compete at regionals after winning the District 9-5A tournament last week. Coach Christopher Cole shepherded the group with senior captains Brad Mason and Andrew Weinberger leading the charge, assisted by senior Travis Jaggars, junior Randy Appling, and sophomore Bobby Ladtkow.
Mason, who will play golf at Mississippi State next year and is shown in the photo, was awarded an individual district medal for his top performance. All-district honors also went to Weinberger, Appling, and Jake Zabojnik.
