No matter how I try most of the plants I touch don’t live long, and when it comes to buying, planting, pruning and nurturing plants, my lack of horticultural education induces headaches. Here’s a solution good for those like me and good gardeners alike — on May 1 from 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. the Arboretum hosts its popular annual plant sale featuring unique and tough-to-find varieties used at the Arboretum.
