It’s been a while since we’ve had any coyote talk here on Back Talk, but in the past when I’ve brought it up, readers were always eager to get in on the conversation. It’s pretty much understood amongst the more wildlife savvy that coyotes don’t attack people. They just don’t. I learned at one DFW Wildlife meeting that there’s only been a handful of cases in decades of coyotes attacking humans — which kind-a makes this story out of nearby Allen, TX a big deal.
