It looks as if Jerry Allen will have an opponent in the May election.
Retired Bank of America executive and longtime Lake Highlands resident Donald Sanders filed a treasurer appointment report with Dallas City Hall indicating he will run against incumbent council member Jerry Allen for the District 10 seat.
Sanders’ supporters, led by former District 10 councilman Bill Blaydes, plan to host a campaign kickoff gathering for Sanders Thursday, Dave Levinthal reports.
