The Wildcat Academic Decathlon team placed 8th at regionals last weekend, with several standout individual performers. Junior Tyler Terrell earned a perfect score in Speech, senior Andrew Overby placed first in Social Science, and junior Robbie Liebendorfer was first in the Essay division. AcDec coach Casey Boland was beaming with pride in her team, reporting that they were pleased with their strong performance despite not making the cut to compete at the state level. "Competition this year was exceptionally tough," she said, but the team learned a great deal and is ready for next year.
