The Lake Highlands soccer season is off to a great start, with both the boys’ team and the girls’ team faring well against tough competition in tournament play. The girls won the Red Bull Nolan tournament, defeating Southlake, Nolan Catholic, and Klein Oak, all nationally ranked teams.
The boys defeated North Mesquite handily in the Jesuit Meinster tournament, but lost to Jesuit, which is ranked first nationally, 1-0. The boys then beat Highland Park, 3-0, to win the consolation bracket. Both the boys and the girls play next in the Duncanville tournament this weekend.
