Heard through the grapevine that Highlands Christian Church at 9949 McCree has gotten the green light to start a community garden in their own backyard. They have a big space behind the church with the beautiful stained glass windows and have also wisely sought counsel from the organizers of the Lake Highlands Community Garden.
I’m excited. I may become a Lake Highlands land baron and obtain a second plot at HCC — five blocks from my house. Don’t have all the details yet but will surely get them and pass them on.
