The Morning News just sent out a "breaking news" email with this update: Jenny the elephant will stay at the Dallas Zoo, rather than be shipped to Mexico, Tennessee or some other place. The decision by the zoo comes after quite a few weeks of wrangling on the part of animal activists and politicians, all trying to figure out what was best for the 32-year-old elephant. In retrospect, this seems like the right decision all along for an animal that really knows no other home.
