The apartment demolition for the proposed Lake Highlands Town Center appears to be proceeding along nicely. A couple of days ago I was stopped in traffic on Walnut Hill as a Cat, much like the one in the picture, crawled from the south side to the north side buildings. The south has a lot of buildings down to rubbish now, including foundations.

The apartments on the north side of Walnut Hill have row upon row of old dishwashers, stoves and refrigerators lined up in the parking lots. I’m assuming that asbestos abatement must be going faster than planned for so many buildings to be reduced to dust so quickly.
