Dallas’ Only Daily Newspaper ran a story on Sunday that discussed who owns land in and around the proposed Trinity River corridor (which sounds so much more neutral than the Belo Parkway). Apparently, Jim Schutze at the Observer can shame them into almost anything.

As part of the story, the paper’s on-line version linked to a spreadsheet of the property owners and the value of the land. Guess which link doesn’t work this morning?

As a public service to The News, I’ll note that anyone who wants to find that information can go to the Dallas Central Appraisal District web site and search for property owners by address, by name or by using the site’s interactive map. It’s not as convenient as having it in once place, but it’s not like we actually expect The News to serve its readers.
