Shortly after I posted this first post about the peacocks, they did their usual disappearing act from our yard. Which was fine by me because it meant that I didn’t have to clean up the front step so much, nor buy cat food as often.
Well… for the last 5 days… they’rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!
I had our White Rock Trail gate open and there were Fred and his other brother Fred across the street. So, I yelled out "Hey Fred" and they both turned and looked. I ran in and got Janine, as they love her voice. After 5 or 6 of her calling out "Hey Fred" and "Come here Fred" they sauntered across WRT, stopping traffic at the same time, and in the gate to the courtyard.
Whereupon they were fed and watered. I’m not sure what "no hairball" formula will do for them, as they’ve never had it before. So, I’m standing far away for a while.
