For any baseball fans out there, I came across this piece and thought I’d share it as it’s a bit of a different angle to the story of Bonds’ big hit. Surely not something I’d considered. I find it really bittersweet – Matt barely had his ’15 minutes’ and then poof! Here comes Uncle Sam.
Now if he really does share any proceeds of his win with his buddy (AFTER paying ‘the fine’), he’s a stand up guy in my book. And a good stadium scrambler to boot.
