Gun violence erupted in theĀ Skillman/Audelia area Monday night and early today, when three people were shot in two separate incidents.

The Dallas Police Department responded to a shooting call in the 9600 block of Walnut Street around 8:15 p.m. Monday. Officers found a 59-year-old man lying in the hallway outside of an apartment, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Inside the apartment, they found a 51-year-old woman who had been shot.

The victims told police they had beenĀ shot by two men they didn’t know. They were taken to Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition, and no suspects have been identified in the crime.

Around 1:30 this morning, police responded to another call in the 9900 block of Adleta. There they found a 41-year-old man who had been shot once. The man told police he’d caughtĀ two men trying to break into a car in his apartment parking lot. One of the men pulled a gun, and the victim ran back to his apartment, but the assailant followed him and shot him. The men then robbed the victim and ran away. The victim was taken to Presbyterian Hospital, and no suspects have been identified.
