The comic book store Frontrunner, 9660 Audelia, is up and running, and co-owner Andrew Johnson says he hopes the community will drop by during this week’s soft opening, through Thursday, from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. and all day and night Friday 8 a.m.-2 a.m. The big grand opening is Saturday 8 a.m.-2 a.m. More about the business here.
Nature’s Plate
Nature’s Plate, the plant-based food delivery business founded by sisters Annette Baker and Marianne Lacko just opened up in a small space near JJ’s Cafe and Ra Ra’s Closet. The Lake Highlands community showed up to today’s soft opening, Baker tells us. She says they are planning a grand opening in September. We will keep you posted. The store is located at 10233 E. Northwest.
This all also comes alongside the expansion of Atomic Pie and the opening of Lake Highlands Creamery.
