On Saturday, Dec. 20, Femme Pedale, a local group of female cyclists, is hosting a fully supported winter social ride for all-female cyclists in the Dallas area, Wreck the Elements, starting at the Richardson Bike Mart White Rock. There will be 3 route options to accommodate all skill levels: 13 miles, average pace of 12-14 mph; 22 miles, pace of 12-14 mph; 45 miles, pace of 14-15 mph. Richardson Bike Mart is located at 9040 Garland Rd. Meet there at 8 a.m. to mingle with other riders and fuel up before heading out at 9 a.m. See the Facebook event page for more.
