  • The Dallas Park and Recreation Board approved up to $1.2 million for upgrades to White Rock’s East Lawther Trail. The plan still must go before the Dallas City Council. Dallas News reports that the project, funded by 2006 bond funds, could be finished as soon as the end of the year. According to reporter Tom Benning, the project involves “widening and repaving the existing trail, building a rest area with a water fountain, and replacing some lighting at the Bath House.”
  • D Magazine food critic has added Momo Italian Kitchen on Forest Lane to her list of the most underrated restaurants in Dallas.
