The Lake Highlands High School Varsity men’s soccer team will play for the district championship Tuesday, March 18 as they take on J.J. Pearce at Pearce’s B field. Since the two teams are tied for first place, the regular season game counts for all the marbles and determines seeding for district playoffs.
Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m., the JV plays at 6. Pearce is located at 1600 Coit Road.
As always, while the men are away, the ladies play at home. Tuesday will be Senior Night for the Lady Cats, with parents taking the field with their seniors at half time as players are honored and their college plans announced.
Friday night marks the end of regular season play, with both teams playing W.T. White and the men hosting Senior Night on home turf.
District playoffs begin on or about Thursday, March 27. Go Cats!
