Dallas Lutheran School welcomes a new executive director, David Bangert, who has spent his entire career in Lutheran education. He has a bachelor’s degree from Concordia Teachers College in River Forest, Ill., and a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Bangert has coached girls and boys’ basketball, football, soccer, softball, track and volleyball. Most recently, he spent the last 12 years as director of student services at Martin Luther High School in Wisconsin. He served on the Leadership Network of the Lutheran Education Association, and has published a book of devotions titled “That They May Have Life”.
