Joining LHAMAR will be Hamilton Park UMC’s Rev. Dr. Sheron Patterson and Rev. Terrence Jennings, former Richardson ISD trustee David Tyson, Rabbi Nancy Kasten of Faith Commons, Rev. Cathy Sweeney of Arapaho UMC, Rev. Megan Elizabeth Lilburn Turner of Northway Christian Church and Tracy Allred of Perkins Seminary.

Third grader Chloe Liu and tenth grader Efosa Osawemwenze will sing a song of peace.

The 7 p.m. vigil will center around LHAMAR’s “Say Their Names” display, which recalls people of color who died at the hands of police officers around the country. The traveling exhibit is designed to foster discussions about racism and encourage change. The vigil will be livestreamed on LHAMAR’s Facebook page here.

HPUMC is at 11881 Schroeder Road near Forest and 75. In the event of rain, participants will move inside the church.
