On Wednesday, the Lake Highlands Area Moms Against Racism will meet with Major Terrence Rhodes, Commanding Major of the Northeast Patrol Division.

The Lake Highlands Area Moms Against Racism are hosting two free virtual events for neighbors to get to know the Northeast DPD and a City Council candidate.

These event will take place over Facebook Live on the LHAMAR page.

On Wednesday beginning at 6 p.m., LHAMAR will meet with Major Terrence Rhodes, Commanding Major of the Northeast Patrol Division.

The event will provide an opportunity for neighbors to get to know and share ideas with Rhodes. Live viewers will be able to post comments and questions.

On Thursday beginning at 7:30 p.m., LH Blue and neighbor Scott Hadden will interview District 10 City Council representative and candidate Adam McGough on Zoom.

LHAMAR will stream the interview on their Facebook page.

Hadden asks neighbors to consider questions such as: What would you like done for your neighborhood by the City? What have you fought against without much support? What can we do to make this a better city for all our residents? Are you happy with the way things are? Ask about streets, homelessness, street art, police and safety, LBJ expansion, retail in Lake Highlands, parks, trash Pickup, masks/no masks and affordable housing.
