Those without power and water can head to the YMCA on 8920 Stults Road today and tomorrow between 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Select YMCAs serving Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Collin and Rockwall counties have opened their doors are warming centers.

There will be hot coffee, charging stations, WiFi access and water stations available. Locker rooms will also be open for those in need of a hot shower. Families have exclusive use of the locker rooms for 20-minute intervals.

The YMCA is asking for those arriving to wear a mask and stay within their family unit while inside.

Families can access the facility for three-hour windows, but can stay longer if there is no waiting list and the facility is not at capacity. Food may also be brought to warm up in microwaves when available.

Other nearby YMCAs participating as warming centers include the White Rock Family YMCA and the Richardson Family YMCA.
