The Texas Division of Emergency Management and recently opened MCI Diagnostic Center at 9728 Greenville Ave. began providing free testing beginning Jan. 11. The site will be open between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

“We thank the State of Texas and the Texas Division of Emergency Management for opening up additional testing site in Dallas,” said Rocky Vaz, Director of the City of Dallas Office of Emergency Management, in a Jan. 9 press release. “This testing site will give our residents more accessibility to know their COVID-19 status.”

Free testing at the site is open to all regardless of residency or the presence of COVID-19 symptoms, per the release. Those receiving a test should present an address and photo ID to receive results. Results can be expected in two to four days.

The site will be open from Jan. 11 through Jan. 31, and is separate from the mobile, in-home testing services MCI Diagnostic Center provides for the City of Dallas.

A full list of testing locations can be accessed here or by calling 214-670-INFO.
