New year, same traffic woes. But, there is a light at the end of the tunnel for several City of Dallas street projects in Lake Highlands.
These current street improvement projects are expected to be completed in 2021, according to the City of Dallas active capital projects page. Here is what month they’re expected to finish:
February
- Alley reconstruction at Webb Kay Drive and Windy Crest Drive first started in late April 2020.
- Alley reconstruction at Greensprint Drive and Church Road first started in late April 2020.
- Alley reconstruction at Dartridge Drive and Covemeadow Drive first started in late April 2020.
- Alley reconstruction at Buxhill Drive and Chiswell Road and Fenchurch Road first started in late April 2020.
- Alley reconstruction at Shady Dale Lane and Shoreview Road first started in late April 2020.
June
- Street reconstruction at Ferndale Road to Lockhaven Drive first started in May 2020.
- Street reconstruction at Lockhaven Drive and East Northwest Highway to Lockyer Drive first started in May 2020.
- Street reconstruction at Lockhaven Drive from Lockyer Drive to Lynford Drive first started in May 2020.
- Street reconstruction at Lockhaven Drive from Lynford Drive to Lanshire Drive first started in May 2020.
July
- Intergovernmental partnership projects for Valley View/Walnut to the city limits started in September 2020.
