First Baptist Church Richardson

Head slightly north on Dec. 12 from 4-7 p.m. as First Baptist Richardson showcases a live nativity scene and offers take-home children’s activities for the family. Those interested in attending must reserve a timeslot in advance.

Dallas Arboretum

Holiday at the Arboretum runs through Dec. 31 and features 25-foot-tall decorated Victorian-style gazebos that represent the 12 days of Christmas. At night, the garden is illuminated by over one million lights. Kids can visit with Santa and entertainment, shopping, food and drinks are available at the Christmas Village.
