Whether you’re taking photos for the family Christmas card, hanging with friends or sipping a hot drink while taking it all it in, here’s where you can find lights and displays this year:

Lake Highlands Town Center

A tall Christmas tree with red and white ornaments, lights and a star topper can be found along Wildcat Way. Additionally, between Taco Diner and Fish City Grill lies a large red ornament display courtesy of Associated Fiberglass Enterprises.

Timberhollow Circle

A dozen homes along Timberhollow Circle will illustrate the 12 days of Christmas with decorations. The Lake Highlands neighborhood tradition has been around for over two decades and can be found in the Oak Highlands Estates near Royal Lane and Abrams Road.

First Baptist Church Richardson

Head slightly north on Dec. 12 from 4-7 p.m. as First Baptist Richardson showcases a live nativity scene and offers take-home children’s activities for the family. Those interested in attending must reserve a timeslot in advance.

Dallas Arboretum

Holiday at the Arboretum runs through Dec. 31 and features 25-foot-tall decorated Victorian-style gazebos that represent the 12 days of Christmas. At night, the garden is illuminated by over one million lights. Kids can visit with Santa and entertainment, shopping, food and drinks are available at the Christmas Village. Reservations and required for members and non-members.

7424 Axminster Court

Make the short drive to Lakewood at 7424 Axminster Court to enjoy Christmas lights that coordinate with music.
