This weekend the Lake Highlands Junior Women’s League is kicking off the holiday season coronavirus style: a virtual tree lighting event.
Virtual Light Up the Highlands will take place Nov. 29 at 6 p.m. via YouTube and will include a Christmas tree lighting, entertainment from pop ensemble Espree of Lake Highlands High School, The Wranglers and the Highlandettes.
A canned food drive partnership with Reverse Food Truck is also open. Drop offs will occur through Dec. 2 at Local Resident Reality at 7130 Skillman St., Ste. 100, and Highlands Family Dentistry at 9850 Walnut Hill Lane, Ste. 423.
