The organization is selling T-shirts to raise money for local restaurants and to donate meals to first responders. Today they delivered meals from Republic Texas Tavern to first responders.

“Your donations make these meals possible. Thank you for supporting the Meat Fight Loves You Effort by purchasing shirts and making donations,” they wrote in a Facebook post. “These donations help local restaurants, and then we send the meals to first responders. To date, this effort has raised $20,000 for DFW restaurants + first responders. We have sent meals to hospitals, fire stations, police officers, to Cafe Momentum for DISD and RISD kiddos, and we are ready to do more. Thank you so much.”

Meat Fight is ran by neighbor Alice Laussade, who we wrote about in 2017.
